I just don’t want to be a jerk writing about a bad thing on the day I created my new blog ‘Just for fun!!!’, but I couldn’t help it. Here it comes..
Indian cricket sucked and it sucked BIG time today. Indian Cricket team is out of the World cup 2007 in first stage. In a cricket crazy nation this is something that nobody could have even thought of happening. But it has happened. Until now, everything is fine. This is a game and the result has to be taken in the way it has to be taken.
But here comes the bad part. Television and Online media has already started to make things worse by asking viewer’s responses. In the past one hour in a particular Indian channel which is debating it currently, I couldn’t see a single Indian cricket fan treating this as a game. One person says ‘Indian cricket team should not be allowed inside the country and all their property be sold in an auction’.. The other one says ‘We have to hit them when they come home’.. oh God.. watz happening here.. In next 24 hours, this will create a chain effect and vandalism will start all over the country again..
God..please help these people. I understand the team has heavily pulled down a billion people.. but come-on.. this is the team representing you and me to the whole world.. Treat them with some respect and they truly deserve it..
